WFP is the world’s largest humanitarian organization working towards zero hunger in 2030, supporting governments and communities in 88 countries. WFP was awarded the 2020 Nobel Peace Prize for its efforts to combat hunger. A first responder in emergencies, the WFP provides food and other assistance to the survivors of conflict, drought, floods, earthquakes, hurricanes, crop failures and, most recently, the global COVID-19 pandemic.
An avid art collector, Doug currently serves on the Boards of The Nasher Museum of Art at Duke University, the Biennial of the Americas, and the Denver Civic Arts Foundation. Previous board engagements include nine years with the Museum of Contemporary Art Denver and six years with the Cherry Hills Village Public Art Commission. He is a graduate of the Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation’s Leadership Denver program, and is a Past President of the Denver Active 20-30 Children’s Foundation.
